Digital-MagicPro Analogue-DV Video/Audio Converter with Component Input/Output:Best for High-Quality Video Editing on Desktop & Laptop PCs

Inventa Australia has released a new low-cost high-quality Analogue to DV/Firewire converter "Digital MagicPro", at an RRP $499 inc. GST. Based on the previous model Digital-Magic using high-quality DIVIO DV hardware Codec chipset, the new DigitalMagicPro added more advanced features such as Component(YUV) video output, Automatic detection of PAL or  NTSC incoming video format, therefore presenting a much more robust and professional analogue/DV video converter still at the lowest price. The newly designed front panel arrangement include inputs from Component Video(YUV), SVideo(Y/C), Composite-Video(CVBS),  stereo audio(RCA sockets), a 4-Pin Firewire socket, Power-on LED, Mode select(Input/Output) button, while the back panel has outputs for SVideo/Composite-Video/Component Video, stereo audio, a 6-Pin Firewire socket, Dip-Switch for configuration settings, 5V DC-power socket, and a Power on/off button.

Digital-MagicPro comes with Firewire(6-6 Pin) cable, analogue Video/Audio cable including a Svideo cable, AC Power adaptor, and one year hardware warranty. Since Digital-MagicPro operates purely as hardware analogue to DV video/audio converter, it works well with all Laptop/Desktop computers, all DV cameras that have a Firewire interface: analogue video and audio signals are converted in realtime into DV format video and sent out directly to its Firewire port, to be input into PCs with Firewire socket as "DV" video(In Australia PAL Format, that means 3.6MByte/sec., 720X576-Pixel per Frame, NTSC format will be 720X480-Pixel per Frame). On the opposite direction, when PCs running video editing software such as Adobe Premiere/Ulead VideoStudio/Microsoft MovieMaker etc outputting "DV" format video/audio signal to the Firewire socket connected to Digital-MagicPro, "DV" video/audio signal get converted back to analogue signal and appear directly on the analogue video output ports at the back of the Digital-MagicPro. This enables video output to analogue TV or VCRs directly from within the editing software's timeline, without going through any DV video camera, presenting a very powerful and convenient live video editing environment to view the edited video results, such as transitions and titles on television screen: e.g., using Digital-MagicPro, not only Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 can directly capture high-quality analogue video/audio, it can also realtime display full-screen video transitions, effects and motion titles etc onto TV/VCR/Camera directly from timeline without "rendering": thus giving a realtime full-motion full-screen TV feedback of the edited video.

In addition to DV format video capture, Digital-MagicPro can also be used with many software to realtime capture MPEG or other format video files directly, such as DVD/DiVX/.wmv etc, for many applications including movie disk creation and video streaming. Generic video capture software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Sony Vegas Pro, Ulead VideoStudio, InterVideo WinDVR, Microsoft MovieMaker etc all work well with Digital-MagicPro to capture and output various formats of video files.

Digital-MagicPro works on all versions of MS Windows 2000, XP and Vista, provides an ideal tool for Laptop and desktop PC users to capture and output high quality analogue video from / to various analogue video devices, in various video editing and conversion application fields where video quality and audio/video synchronization requirement cannot be compromised. With Digital MagicPro's well-designed hardware conversion circuitry, even slowest PentiumIII PCs can capture and output perfect quality and absolutely A/V sycn'ed video, easily beating all those dubious software-compression-based video I/O devices(all TV tuners, Graphics cards with "video input/output" sockets) that are forever plagued by low video quality and A/V out-of-sync problems, no matter how powerful their host PC hardware are.
