4-in-1 Digital-Analogue TV/Radio Tuner/Capture PCI Card

Inventa Australia has released a 4-in-1 PCI card that has High-Definition TV tuner, Analogue TV tuner, Analogue Video Capture, and FM-Radio tuner all built-in.

When used as digital TV tuner, the 4-in-1 has the same functions as the Inventa PCIHDTV, receiving and recording all high-definition and standard definition digital terrestrial TV channels in crystal-clear quality and forever synchronized audio, inc. AC3/Dolby 5.1 audio, and the recorded video files are DVD-compatible .mpg format ready to be burned to DVD movie disks without further compression. Scheduled recording, always-on time-shifting, manual & auto channel tuning, teletext, subtitles, etc functions are all available.

When used as analogue TV tuner, the 4-in-1can tune and record any analogue TV channels in any country. Extra functions such as channel-surfing (multi-channel preview), still-image grabbing etc are added.

When used as analogue Video capture card, the 4-in-1can capture analogue video and audio in different formats, inc. DVD-compliant MPEG2 format, for various video archiving and movie disk creation applications.

FM-radio stations can also be tuned and recorded using various software through a separate antenna socket at the top of the  4-in-1 card.

All analogue TV, analogue video and FM-Radio signals can be viewed and listened to using various generic video/audio capture software, including Microsoft MovieMaker (come free with WindowsXP),  Ulead VideoStudio, Adobe Premiere, etc. The captured video files' format can be changed from within the capture software, while the captured FM-Radio signal can be saved as 44.1KHz or 48KHz stereo audio files. Multiple 4-in-1 PCI cards can also be installed on the same PC to simultaneously tune and capture multiple TV and video channels. For example, installing three 4-in-1 PCI cards on a WindowsXP MCE2005 PC can easily watch and record 2 digital TV channels plus 1 analogue video(or TV) channel side by side: three live TV/video windows on screen simultaneously --- e.g., handy for keeping an eye on some surveillance camera while enjoying various TV programs.

4-in-1 PCI card comes with BDA driver that works not only with its bundled software but also many other TV tuning and video capture software, inc. Microsoft MCE2005, ShowShifter, and many free software such as VidCap, VirtualDub, etc.

4-in-1 PCI card has recommended retail price of $149 inc. GST. A card+driver only OEM version of $99 is also available for users who wish to use their own application software. Hardware warranty is two-years return to base.
